Cats of November

Cats of November Tutorial by RoniElaine
Tutorial written on October 18, 2009

This tutorial adapts very well for those who would like to make
another one for Autumn   or for Spring with just a change of colors and tubes.

Skill Level - Intermediate

This tutorial was written using PSP X but should work
in other versions with just a few adjustments.
It was written in "split screen" format so that
you can work on the tutorial with PSP open on one
side of your screen and the tutorial on the other side.
I encourage you to use other tubes to make your own creation.

1.  Open your tubes in PSP
Choose 2 colors from your tubes
I used #da9561 for my light foreground color
I used #925f38 for my dark background color
     Windows > Duplicate
Duplicate all 3 tubes and close the originals.

2.  Open New Image - 700 width x 500 height
In Materials Palette - set a gradient
        Settings: Sunburst, Repeats 15
                       Center Point: both at 1
                       Focal Point: both at 50
                       Invert not checked

Use your Flood Fill Tool to fill with gradient.

       Layers > Duplicate
       Image > Mirror
       Image > Flip

Lower the opacity of this layer to 50%.
Layers > Merge > Merge Visible

from the background layer or the muted

You can later make it seamless for a background
